Charming Rooms opens the doors to spaces with a special allure, revealing the secrets behind their captivating atmosphere, layer by layer.

All of the featured interiors are imbued with nostalgia and timeless charm. Antique pieces and vintage finds, heirloom paintings, patinated rattan, gingham and stripes blend together in layered compositions where every element plays its part. The resulting spaces feel lived-in, full of character and effortlessly natural. Rather than following passing trends, these rooms are shaped by thoughtful choices, nuanced details and time unfolding.

The presented rooms are part of complete homes created by renowned Finnish interior architect Elina Siltanen-Sjöberg for her clients. Their charm lies in a harmonious interplay of colours, materials and proportions, enriched by objects that each tell a story.

The masterful, evocative photography by Viola Virtamo, paired with Elina’s insights, reveals the principles behind interiors that truly instil atmosphere and feeling. The book explores how depth, warmth and a sense of continuity can be brought into a room, creating soulful homes that only grow more beautiful with time. Charming Rooms follows Elina’s debut interior book Hidden Gems – Home Like a Dream, published in 2021.
