Our hemp rugs are made by hand by talented craftsmen in India where they have long traditions and skills in rug weaving. The fiber is extracted from the outer part of the stem of the fast-growing hemp plant. Both wool- and hemp rugs are in a natural material and durable as well as being known to withstand daily wear and tear. Please be aware that hemp fiber is sensitive to light, and it is good to know that the colour can fade over time if the rug is placed in direct sunlight.
